XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 4 REVIEW

Xiaomi has again unveiled a budget smart phone in the starting of the year 2k17,this budget phone has been launched in china in the month of august. This device is the successor of redmi note 3 which has been launched in the mid of 2k16. As it is the successor of redmi note 3,it has many things similar to it. The design and build quality looks similar but as you hold the device in your hand you can easily find the difference between the both phones. The successor has chamfered edges and it gives good feel and grip in the hand. The phone comes with FULL HD Display, Fingerprint sensor and other basic sensors. It gets the power from 4100 mAh built-in battery.

PERFORMANCE:-

The device is powered by snapdragon 625 SOC which is a degrade from its predecessor redmi note 3 as it has snapdragon 650 SOC. But in regular uses you can’t find any difference between these two phones. And in fact if you push these phones more the note 4 performs better. If you do heavy gaming on these two phones the note 3 starts to heat and lag after just 10-20 minutes of usage. But this is not so in the case of redmi note 4 as it is powered by snapdragon 625 SOC which is made on much superior 14nm architecture with fin fit technology. So it performs better than 650 SOC present in note 3 which is made on 28 nm older technology. So when we play heavy games on Redmi note 3 more than 20 minutes its tends to heat and lag. So performance on heavy usage is better in redmi note 4.

BATTERY:-

The redmi note 4 is powered by a 4100 mAh built-in battery which gives you a backup of up to 2 days on normal usage with screen on time somewhere between 7-8 hours. Xiaomi has claimed that it has 25% more battery than redmi note 3.

CAMERA:- There is a 13MP rear camera with dual tone led flash and phase detection auto focus(PDAF). It has also a 5MP front camera. The performance of the camera is good in day light conditions but in low lighting and artificial lighting the performance is decent. The performance of camera has slightly increased as compare to redmi note 3.

OS- It runs on android 6.0.1 on the xiaomi custom skin MIUI 8. The UI is very fluid and it never lags in usage

CONS:- The only con is the average camera performance and lots of preloaded apps present in the phone and it takes approximately 3 hrs to charge.

FINAL BITE-  The redmi note 4 is a great device if you are looking for a phone with smooth performance good battery life and good build quality
